Our client is a global leader in non-alcoholic beverage manufacturing, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead distributor relationships and drive sales in their Durban factory.
The ideal candidate will act as the key liaison between the company and distributors, representing the brand in the South African market.
This role will report to the Factory Manager and oversee a Customer Service Representative (CSR).
Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between distributors and the company, ensuring smooth communication and strong partnerships.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and achieve sales targets for the company's non-alcoholic beverages.
Manage and strengthen distributor relationships, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and standards.
Represent the company and its products in the South African market, ensuring brand integrity and recognition.
Collaborate with the Factory Manager to align sales operations with overall factory performance and objectives.
Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and provide strategic input for growth in the region.
Oversee the Customer Service Representative, ensuring efficient and effective support to distributors.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
Requirements Proven track record in sales and distributor management within the beverage or FMCG sector.
Experience working with international brands, particularly in the beverage industry, is highly desirable.
Previous experience in managing distributor networks and driving sales growth.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors and stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and oversee a team.
Proficient in sales reporting and CRM systems.

Deep understanding of the South African beverage market and distribution networks.
