SALES FINANCE ACCOUNTANT | CAPE TOWN R455 000.00 - R552 500.00 CTC PER ANNUM + CELLPHONE ALLOWANCE Our client, a leading global FMCG brand in the Beauty Cosmetics industry, is looking for a Sales Finance Accountant to join their boisterous Team.
JOB PURPOSE: To assist with the financial planning, budgeting and financial forecasting processes and help leadership make important business decisions through data insight.
YOUR DAY TO DAY Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:
Prepare and process monthly marketing and sales journals Maintain and manage merchandising assets Perform month-end reconciliations of Statement of Financial Position Review and allocate credit notes accurately Update and maintain pricing in SAP and Kinaxis systems Ensure accurate management of Pricing Master data Analyse and review gross profit margins Assist in annual and quarterly budgeting process Prepare financial marketing reports Support various ad hoc financial tasks MINIMUM ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential) 1-3 years of experience in a financial or accounting role within Retail, Manufacturing or FMCG sector Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Experience in preparing detailed financial reports and performing reconciliations Familiarity with managing master data and maintaining accurate records TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, with high proficiency in Excel Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles Strong data analytics and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team BENEFITS: Competitive guaranteed TCTC package Company performance bonus based on global company performance (variable pay, not guaranteed) Inclusive, dynamic start-up culture 23 days leave per annum...and more
