DMGT Manages a diverse, multinational portfolio of companies with total revenues of £2bn, that provide businesses and consumers with compelling information, analysis, insight, events, news, and entertainment.Job Responsibilities: Actively promote and sell exhibition space and sponsorshipTo conduct a telephone sales campaign to lapsed exhibitors and new prospectsTo conduct face-to-face sales to current exhibitors, lapsed exhibitors and new prospectsTo source new companies in these marketplaces from the trade press and competitive eventsTo actively seek out and follow through effectively on new prospectsLiaise with Associations and Trade Bodies.Develop and maintain long term relationships with current customers and prospects, understanding their business and marketing needsTo develop and manage the prospect databaseTo maintain contact with exhibitors and deliver a high standard of customer serviceTo work with the Sales Manager and head of sales in identifying new opportunities for the event.To achieve individual and event revenue targets.
Reporting and administration: Update all activities and contacts on SalesForce (CRM System)Load bookings into SalesForceSubmit a weekly pipeline report ahead of the pipeline meetingReport back weekly in a pipeline meeting.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Fluent in English written and verbal, other languages an advantage.2-3 years B2B sales experience.Tele-Sales in any environment is an advantage Behavioural Competencies: AdaptableFlexibleExcellent communicatorSelf-starter/driven "Please take the time to read the job description, you must meet all the criteria set out above for your application to be considered.
