We're on a mission to change this by creating equal access to seamless payment and liquidity solutions that are already a given in developed markets.We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to drive business growth and expand Verto's customer base in Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting businesses in accessing our market-leading payment and FX solutions.In this role you will:Generate Leads: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industries.Manage the Sales Cycle: Handle the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals.Build Client Relationships: Establish trust and maintain long-term partnerships with SMEs and corporate clients.Collaborate with the Sales Manager: Support the sales strategy and align efforts to achieve team targets.Promote Verto's Solutions: Educate prospects on the benefits of Verto's payment and FX services, tailoring solutions to their unique needs.Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual sales quotas.Track Progress: Use CRM tools to manage leads, track performance, and ensure accurate reporting.Stay Informed: Keep up with market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine your approach.Support Team Goals: Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.You'll be responsible for:Contributing to revenue growth by acquiring new clients in South Africa.Building a robust pipeline of prospective customers within the first 6 months.Delivering exceptional client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.Skills and Qualifications:2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on payments, FX, or financial services preferred.Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with diverse clients.Knowledge of the South African market and key industries.Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track performance.A proactive, results-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Analytical mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and craft tailored solutions.Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.RE5 Accreditation (beneficial).Core Challenges:Building a pipeline of high-quality leads in a competitive market.Balancing the need for short-term wins with cultivating long-term client relationships.Understanding the diverse needs of businesses across multiple industries.
