Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join a prestigious high-end hotel group. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a renowned brand known for its luxury, exceptional service, and unparalleled guest experiences.
Minimum Requirements:

Must have Grade 12; a tertiary qualification will be an advantage
At least 5 years of high-end/luxury hotel sales experience
Ability to work accurately under pressure
High level of customer service, disciplined, organized, attention to detail, and deadline-driven
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage
High degree of self-motivation and ambition
Must have own vehicle

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the luxury market
Attend regular sales meetings with the Sales and Marketing Director, CEO, CFO, and General Managers; publish appropriate minutes of the meetings
Conduct continuous market research targeting high-end clientele
Produce detailed and comprehensive reports as required by hotel management/head office
Maintain and coordinate all sales and marketing spend within budget guidelines
Monitor and report on competitive activity within the luxury hotel segment
Ensure that all sales and marketing actions are measurable and routinely report on these actions through statistical reports and comparatives to targets
Build and maintain relationships with high-end internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate and distribute promotional materials to sales agents, central reservations systems, and third-party agents
Compile quotes, contracts, and invoices
Develop and maintain a database of commercial, retail, travel, and organizational contracts to ensure maximum sales
Undertake direct telesales and sales calls (face-to-face) to potential and established luxury clients in the area; client/area allocation will change as per company requirements
Achieve the sales targets as set
Attend high-profile travel functions, such as fairs, trade shows, exhibitions, and events, in a participative or observer status
Visit key clients and prospective key clients; attend workshops and trade shows as required
Maintain daily contact with GM, reservations, and banqueting to develop working relationships and to maintain a constant awareness of trends within the luxury hotel market
Ensure in-depth product knowledge of all properties in the hotel group
