The company offers a wide range of products, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling machines, bandsaws, and sheet metal machinery like guillotines, press brakes, bending brakes, and croppers.
They also supply laser and plasma cutters to meet the diverse needs of their clients.
Key Responsibilities: As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Sales Generation: Proactively sell a wide range of industrial machinery, accessories, and spare parts through both internal and external sales channels.
Maximize sales potential by securing as many machine, accessory, and spare part orders as possible.
Client Visits: Conduct on-site visits to both new and existing customers to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales.
Engage in effective communication to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
Government Tenders: Handle and respond to government tenders, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.
Liaise with relevant government departments to secure tender-based business.
Spare Parts Sales & Advisory: Advise customers on spare parts requirements, ensuring they receive the correct components for their machinery.
Assist with spare parts sales, working closely with the service department for technical queries.
After-Sales Service: Provide top-notch after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Coordinate with the technical service department to address customer service requests promptly.
Logistics and Stock Management: Oversee the ordering of spare parts from suppliers in the Far East, managing logistics and ensuring timely delivery.
Participate in stock control and stock-taking activities to ensure accurate inventory management.
Sales Projects Coordination: Collaborate with colleagues, including Rainard and Albert, to coordinate and execute ongoing sales projects.
Manage timelines and ensure smooth progress from inception to delivery.
Warehouse Operations: Assist with the coordination of loading and unloading equipment in conjunction with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Marketing and Online Presence: Participate in digital marketing activities, including email campaigns, newsletters, and website maintenance.
Assist with the promotion of products through online channels and ensure the companys online presence is up-to-date.
Reporting and Administration: Prepare a detailed weekly sales report that includes current, past, and pending sales as well as ongoing projects.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and follow-ups to ensure efficient sales operations.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in sales within industrial automation, engineering machinery, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of industrial machinery and technical products is advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a small business environment.
Experience with government tenders and large-scale projects would be beneficial.
Proficiency in digital marketing and online sales is a plus.
A valid drivers license and willingness to travel for client visits.
