We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Short Term Commercial Insurance - Sales Executive to join our clients team in George, Western Cape .
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling commercial short-term insurance products to new and existing clients, developing and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients, and achieving sales targets.
The primary focus would be on identifying potential clients, presenting them with suitable product proposals and confirming policy sales.
Job Title: Short Term Commercial Insurance – Sales Executive Location: George, Western Cape Job Type: Short Term Insurance Sales Minimum Qualification Requirements: Matric Relevant Short Term Insurance Qualifications RE5 (Must have valid registration) Minimum 3-5 years' experience in short-term insurance sales Extensive knowledge of Logistics, Fleet and Goods in Transit insurance would be advantageous Proven track record in commercial insurance sales Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license Fluent in English and Afrikaans Non-Negotiables are all FAIS Compliance Requirements: Short-term Insurance Qualification (Compulsory) RE 5 (Must have valid registration - (Compulsory) Product Specific Training Valid DOFA Certification (Compulsory) Class of Business – Commercial and Personal Lines CPD hours in current cycle Key Responsibilities: Generate new business leads and develop existing client relationships Conduct needs analyses and provide tailored insurance solutions to commercial clients Achieve monthly and annual sales targets Build and maintain relationships with brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Build relationships with clients to ensure retention of business and facilitate new business.
Have an extensive knowledge of insurance products and providers is necessary.
Responsible for complete and accurate administration related to all policies and clients Desirable: Experience working with brokers and commercial clients Knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., business interruption, liability) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
