The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, job costing, and the ability to read and cost site drawings. Strong communication skills are essential.QualificationsKey Requirements:Proven sales history.Industry experience.Ability to manage projects and cost jobs effectively.ExperienceExperience Required:Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with prefabricated structures and cold room installations, including materials, construction methods, and specifications. Understanding of insulation and refrigeration systems used in cold rooms. Awareness of industry standards and regulatory compliance for cold storage and prefab structures.Sales Experience: Proven sales experience, particularly in the construction, manufacturing, or related sectors. Strong customer relationship management skills to engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide suitable solutions. Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.Cost Estimation and Quoting: Experience in cost estimation for prefab structures or cold room projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs. Ability to prepare detailed and accurate quotations and proposals for customers.Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications. Proficiency in estimation software or tools, and MS Excel for creating pricing models and cost breakdowns.Project Management: Experience coordinating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure project timelines, budgets, and specifications are met. Knowledge of project timelines and budgeting for prefab structure and cold room installations.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to deliver presentations and technical explanations to clients.Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and identify cost-effective solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues related to cost estimation or client requirements.Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensuring all cost elements and project specifics are correctly calculated and communicated.Time Management: Ability to manage multiple quotations and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of estimates to clients.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Cost Estimation and Quotation Preparation: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for prefab structures and cold room projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Generate detailed quotations and proposals for potential clients based on their project requirements. Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and company pricing strategies.Client Interaction and Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and recommend appropriate solutions. Act as the point of contact for client inquiries related to pricing, products, and project scope. Assist in negotiating contracts, ensuring the terms are clear and beneficial to both the client and the company.Project Evaluation and Bid Preparation: Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and technical documents to understand the scope of work. Prepare bid packages for tenders and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and on time. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services.Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for winning projects. Assist in delivering presentations to clients, highlighting key features, cost benefits, and the company's capabilities. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and services, ensuring clients are well-informed.Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitor pricing, and emerging technologies in prefab structures and cold rooms. Use this information to adjust pricing strategies and ensure competitiveness in the market.Collaboration with Technical and Operations Teams: Coordinate with the engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure estimates align with technical capabilities and project timelines. Work with project managers to ensure that cost estimates are realistic and achievable within the project's constraints.Follow-Up and Client Relationship Management: Follow up on submitted quotes and tenders to ensure timely feedback and address any client concerns. Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.Project Monitoring and Adjustments: Monitor projects after contracts are awarded to ensure that the actual costs remain within the estimated budget. Make necessary adjustments to estimates during the project if changes occur, and communicate these to clients.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all estimates, quotes, and project costs for internal tracking and future reference. Provide regular reports to management on sales progress, estimates submitted, and successful bids.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all estimates comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, especially in cold room installations where refrigeration regulations apply.
