Sales Estimator

Job Title: Sales Estimator Location: Cape Town Remuneration: R300 000 per year depending on experience Manage and monitor building plansRead drawings and roofing plans and generate quotations for customersConduct site visits and conduct estimations for the purpose of doing quotationsService a small client baseBuild relationships with existing customers and grow our footpath in the industryCommunicate with sales director regarding collation of there visits and data for the purpose of customer site visitsProactively & aggressively seek solutionsResolve sales representative and directors estimation complaints received by the clientsPrepare reports and truss manufacturer statistics for competitive advantageFull function sales administrationFollow ups with customersCustomer VisitsInspection of sitesBe effective with the use of the sales tracking new system by keeping all the records accurately and daily reporting thereofOther duties may be assignedTravel from Cape Town to George and other coastal areas is part of the job functionExperience and QualificationsMatricTechnical Qualification or Diploma (Quantity Surveying)5 years experience in estimation quantity surveying of all roof coverings Slates, clay tiles , concrete tiles .
fibre cement sheets and metal sheetingSales System Experience such as Skynamo , Sales Force etcCAD Experience1 Years in computer administration2 Year experience as a sales administrationValid Drivers LicenseMust be able to conduct roof material requirements calculationsRead plan drawings and do quotations thereofProduce quotations with accuracy to be sent to the customer/ roof truss manufacturesConduct estimations and finalization of roof truss plansMaintaining and build good customer relationships with various clientsAbility to climb ladders to do roof and other building inspectionsOther duties will be assigned as this is a unique and newly developed role
