Sales Engineer/Representative - Coatings

Sales Engineer/Representative Purpose:A strong individual is needed in the sales department to ensure that revenue growth and customer acquisition targets are met, by generating new business, maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing customers.
Main Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will be a high performing Sales Engineer/representative dealing with varied industries and different channels to market and to:Meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets,Meet individual and branch sales targets,Source new business/clients,Maintain client relationships,Ensure proper sales administration.Desired Qualifications, Experience and Skill:Qualifications:N-Dip or Bachelor's degree in the sales and marketing fieldMechanical qualification will be an advantageExperience:3 years coatings sales experience (not to retail)Minimum 3 years sales experience in sales and marketing especially in the selling of servicesExperience in the construction industry will be an advantagePreparing quotes and proposalsPlanning and pricing projects will be an advantage (estimation)Contracts and tenders will be an advantageSkills:Excellent planning skillsExcellent communication and report writing skillsStrong business acumenExcellent assertiveness skillsAnalytical skills with problem-solving attitudeBe able to work under pressureExcellent negotiation and commercial skillsProficient in Excel, Word, MS Projects and PowerPoint (as a minimum)Ability to read engineering drawingsAbility to do physical measurements and do required calculation.Valid and unendorsed driver's licence
