Sales Engineer (Junior/Intermediate)Engineering/Technical – Marine & Land based.Highly Negotiable Salary package + Benefits (Basic based on Experience)Opportunity in Cape Town, join well-Established Sole Service Provider to Africa.Sales and Services Marine/Land Engineering products – Propellers & auxiliary engines, land-based generators.Working with established clients in the industry.Building and maintaining relationships – Marine Leisure & Commercial market, New Business Development through leads and network.Criteria:•Matric + any relevant qualifications advantageous (Marine/Engineering)•Ideally 3 – 5 years sales experience in marine or related industry (Engineering/Technical)•Alternatively Qualified, with a passion for Marine Industry and an opportunity to get into the industry to grow – junior level.•Analytical with good time keeping skills.•Good computer skills.•Excellent communication skills, customer centric•Able to work overtime (get hands dirty) travel nationally and occasionally Internationally.KPA's Working with established clients in the industry.Building and maintaining relationships – Marine Leisure & Commercial market, New Business Development through leads and network. Identify and execute sales of marine leisure & commercial diesel propulsion & auxiliary engines along with other related propulsion systems & marine products.•Establishing good customer / supplier relationships•Call on customers & local agents to discuss opportunities, possible orders, delivery conditions, product quality and•requirements regarding future developments•Application Engineering•Handling enquiries, quotes•Maintaining contact with colleagues for orders, delivery terms, complaints.•After sales and technical & warranty support•Managing and investigating complaints•Compiling sales forecasts and order reports•Assisting Management with ad hoc project, advertising plans & Sales Marketing plans for•specific products, regions & customer types•Participates in other sales activities – trade shows.•Identify & pursue representation for other products to increase sales & compliment the•product portfolio•Assist Management in growing the dealer network.
