Main Responsibilities / Key Performance Areas (KPAs)Sales:Follow up on sales leads provided by the company.Develop new client relationships through proactive business development and cold canvassing in designated areas.Liaise with both new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Conduct sales presentations to showcase our products and services.Cultivate spare parts sales with both new and existing customers.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.Prepare weekly sales reports and quotations as required.Provide customers with technical solutions and assist with process simulation using BRUNO.Technical:Commission new equipment as required.Perform minor repairs on existing equipment when possible.Assess existing machines and report findings to customers.Prepare quotations according to set standards for potential and existing clients.Financial/Budget:Meet sales targets and adhere to sales budgets.Internal Processes/Policies and Procedures:Comply with all processes, policies, and procedures in line with ISO requirements.Maintain a detailed knowledge of internal processes and follow through on corrective actions as needed.Problem Solving:Resolve 100% of problems effectively, escalating issues as needed for resolution.Present solutions rather than problems and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence.Gather information from various sources to aid in problem resolution before escalating to management.Reporting:Compile ad-hoc reports as requested.Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly statistical information relevant to the role.Report daily activities on the CANVAS platform.Preferred Experience:Minimum of 5 years in a relevant technical field.Previous experience in sales and business development.Strong commercial and financial understanding.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and other relevant systems.Preferred Attributes:Strategic thinking and negotiation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong planning and organizational abilities.Assertiveness and presentation skills.Tenacity with a commitment to professional sales ethics.Innovative and capable of working independently.Customer service-oriented with high energy levels.Goal-oriented with a focus on results.Creativity and strong interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel as required.Preferred Educational Qualifications:Relevant technical diploma or degree.Sales degree or diploma.
