About the Role: Our client, a leader in the physical security industry , is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team.
This individual should have experience in the security industry .
The SDR will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a robust pipeline of leads.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on engaging with prospects, building relationships, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Use provided lead lists to identify potential clients and initiate outreach.
Cold Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and log all interactions in the CRM system.
Appointment Setting: Schedule and confirm at least two qualified meetings daily.
Pipeline Management: Track leads throughout the sales process, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent engagement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and COO to provide updates and follow up on meetings.
Performance Tracking: Meet weekly performance metrics as outlined by the COO.
CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate records of activities, meetings, and prospects in the CRM.
Market Research: Understand the client's industry to tailor outreach effectively.
Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or similar role.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Strong organizational and research abilities.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and outreach tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Ability to handle rejection with professionalism and persistence.
Proven track record of setting appointments and meeting outreach KPIs.
Experience with the physical security or similar industry (preferred but not required).
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs.
Strong written English and grammar skills (assessment may be required).
Availability to work USA Central Time hours (9 am – 6 pm).
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs): Daily Activity: 50-100 outbound calls logged.
Meetings Scheduled: Minimum of 2 qualified appointments daily.
Lead Conversion Rate: High percentage of leads advanced to qualified opportunities.
Pipeline Contribution: Track opportunities passed to account executives and their eventual outcomes.
Efficiency Metrics: Average number of touchpoints per lead and time to qualify leads.
