Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Financial Services
Location: South Africa (Work from Home)
Hours: UK Hours, Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM
Salary: R25,000 per month +structured commission for each qualified appointment leading to a first trade.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and help grow our client base in the financial services sector.
Your primary role will be to engage decision-makers, build relationships, and book qualified appointments using our innovative price comparison tool.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to generate leads and schedule qualified appointments with key decision-makers (e.g., CFOs, FDs, MDs).Clearly communicate the value of our price comparison tool and guide prospects to explore potential savings.Use Salesforce to maintain a clean and organized CRM database, updating prospect details and tracking call outcomes.Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for call volume and appointment bookings.Follow a pre-defined script while providing input to refine and test approaches for improved performance.Build rapport and trust with prospects, ensuring a smooth handover to the business development team.Effectively handle objections and redirect complex questions to senior team members.What We're Looking For:
3-5 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting, ideally in financial services.Strong understanding of financial concepts (experience with FX is a bonus).Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with a focus on booking appointments rather than selling products.Self-starter who can work independently and thrives in a performance-driven environment.Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.Highly organized with the ability to manage high call volumes daily.
