HANGAR49 is looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our team.
The role will require focus and dedication in order to achieve client-related objectives and targets.
Whilst the role is based out of our Cape Town office, the HANGAR49 client base is not confined to South Africa, and most of our clients are offshore.
We are looking for someone who is not afraid to hunt and can collaborate with our team.
Key Attributes Required For The RoleWorking experience as a Sales Development RepresentativeProven track record of SDR experienceExperience in digital marketing or B2B is a plusHigh proficiency in working with CRM software toolsA drive to pursue and achieve targets and goalsArticulate with a good command of written and spoken EnglishCommunication and negotiation skillsAbility to build rapportTime management and planning skillsNot afraid of cold callsUnderstanding of how to navigate different markets in different regionsTech savvyKey Areas of ResponsibilityNew Business DevelopmentAchieve the monthly target of meetings bookedPursue, develop and convert cold leads into meetings bookedFollow ups, qualification and management of leadsUnderstand, promote and position our clients' products and servicesProvide market feedback to our clientsEnsure all administrative documents are completed and up to dateProvide trustworthy feedback both internally and externallyBuild long-term relationships with new and existing clientsProduct KnowledgeHave a full and detailed understanding of our clients' service and product offering in order to adequately create brand awareness and exposure to new marketsKeep apprised of industry trends and knowledge and harness this to position our clients' offering to prospectsClient RelationshipsNurture new prospects, from initial contact to passing on the lead to our clientsHandle objections and questions from prospectsProspectingIdentify and research prospects through various channels, including LinkedIn and databasesExecute effective outbound campaigns, including cold calling, email outreach and LinkedInEnsure leads passed on to clients fit their criteriaRequirementsMinimum 3 years of sales development representative experience, ideally in a B2B environment
Minimum Matric, plus ideally some form of tertiary qualification and certification
