Contract: Full Time
Pay: ZAR 20,000 per month plus commission About The RoleThe Sales Centre is an outsourcing agency seeking a motivated and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support one of our clients in the M&E and construction sectors. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for outbound lead generation and a hunger for success. You will play a critical role in driving revenue by sourcing, qualifying, and nurturing leads using Pipedrive CRM, email, and phone outreach.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Management: Source leads from targeted platforms (e.g., government websites for schools, care homes).Use Pipedrive CRM to manage leads and track communications effectively.Prioritize leads based on a geographic matrix and sector importance.Communication & Outreach: Conduct a 50/50 split between phone calls and emails to generate and nurture leads.Follow a loose script, focusing on gathering information and building relationships rather than hard selling.Sales Process Support: Take ownership of leads throughout the sales journey, including follow-ups after handing over to directors.Support deal closure by coordinating with the internal team on quotes and other follow-up activities.Collaboration & Improvement: Participate in daily catch-ups during onboarding, transitioning to weekly strategy meetings.Continuously evaluate outreach strategies and propose process improvements.Candidate ProfileExperience & Skills: Industry knowledge in M&E or construction is a plus but not essential.Strong communication skills, resilience, and a proactive mindset are key.Familiarity with Pipedrive CRM is beneficial but not mandatory.Research capabilities and a self-starter attitude for sourcing leads.Personal Attributes: A hunger for success and ability to work towards measurable KPIs.Open to challenging processes and contributing innovative ideas.Comfortable working in a dynamic, performance-driven environment.
