JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES: To develop and maintain business relationship with allocated accounts in order to dominate market space and optimize sales within the inland regions. To understand and identify customers key business goals, aspirations and priorities, to be able to show how the client can add value by providing customer-focused products, using in depth product knowledge to result in additional and future sales. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITI ES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Sales forecasting and budgeting for assigned accounts Setting and managing of sales targets for assigned accounts Managing of customer relationship building processes for assigned accounts . Facilitation of customer interface processes for assigned accounts Analysis of actual sales compared to budget and targets and contigency plans for assingned accounts Cross functional cooperation between relevant role players specifically internal sales . Develop an understanding of customers business processes market and needs Gathering of customer data and compiling of customer profiles and weekly reports Provide point of sales advice and support to customers Compile and adhere to customer call schedules Ensure processing and following up of orders Provide customer service to accounts Ensure accurate and updated product knowledge and ability to provide customers with product advice . Identity and resolve client concerns and queries Special deliveries to stores Collecting returns and repairs from stores. . Manage stock levels (orders done on EDI) . General administration. Research and update ones knowledge of Eurolux products. . Process orders at stores Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, telemarketing events, braais, customer evenings etc. JOB/EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFICATION REQUIR EMENTS: . Matric . Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Sales or related (NQF6) . Valid Drivers Licence (Own vehicle required) . Minimum 5 year experience in sales (advantage if in same trade) . Must have valid passport to travel across border . Required to travel to Northern Cape, Lesotho, Free state . Excellent MS Excel and mathematical skills . Travelling is an inherent requirement of the job. The successful candidate must be able to do overnight travelling during weekdays if and when required. Operational requirements may necessitate working overtime from time to time as well as every second Saturday and or when required for customer events etc.
