Sales Consultant (Payment Solutions) - Claremont / Houtbay

Software Company providing a simple and reliable solution for automating your online payments to the hospitality industry based in Claremont and Hout Bay is currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant for their payment gateway application.Acquire new clients by converting leads into sales, using a prioritised and consultative approach to ensure clients have the best product and channel mix to benefit from our service productAssess client expectations. Match and explain the benefits of using the service to potential new clients and referrals, provide relevant support material and follow up to convert clients to sale.Proactively lead new clients through the sales process of setting up, demonstrating product use, testing and using the service to agreed quality standards.Install a minimum number of new clients per month as per the agreed average spend per complete and/or total revenue as per agreed sales target.Provide additional information and advice as required to optimise the product use for clients.Report on all communication with clients and partners via the internal CRM system to keep accurate records and ensure seamless customer service.Report customer complaints and feedback to Management and follow up with clients as required.Work within a team environment where you will be expected to clearly communicate, collaborate, co-operate and advise team members.Requirements:Previous office-based sales experience, preferably in the hospitality field. (People with a strong support background who can sell, or salespeople who take a consultative approach, are a good fit for this position)Experience with selling payment gateway tech would be an advantage.Excellent active listening and strong time management skills.Charismatic personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Understanding of the sales process and dynamics, as well as the drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.Ability to gauge and understand clients' needs and manage the onboarding process for new clients.Maintain a positive attitude and focus on client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
