This role reports directly to the Sales Director in the Landscaping Business Unit. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Relevant qualification will be an advantage Sales experience (3 - 5 years) with a proven track record of successful sales in the service industry Ability to interpret customer needs Be in possession of a valid un-endorsed driver's license and own transport is essential Good understanding of local market conditions and knowledge of natural turf Must be a self-starter and team player Good communication and interpersonal skills Fully computer literate Ability to work under pressure and independently Committed and willing to make occasional personal sacrifices to meet deadlines Achievement of budgeted sales. Design presentation of highly professional bid documents. Design and presentation of innovative, relevant and competitive solutions. Build and maintain senior relationships both internally and with target clients. Maintain a high level of market intelligence and knowledge of competitor activity Duties & Responsibilities To maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities at all times in CRM to ensure updated forecasts as input to CAPEX planning and to ensure that sales targets are achieved.
To formulate an acquisition plan for identified target accounts to achieve profitable sales targets.
To understand the various target markets, competitor activity, and customer trends in order to feedback insights to allow Servest to improve divisional and Group value propositions.
To prepare proposals based on in-depth understanding of customer's needs and best fit solutions available from Servest.
To lead contract discussions within SLA, legislative requirements, and approvals framework and ensure contracts are concluded before the implementation of services.
To ensure that all required documents and contract administration are completed and signed off, and all activity is recorded or loaded in Servest CRM system to improve monitoring and manage risk.
To hand over new business to the designated department after customer acceptance of Servest offer to ensure customer service levels are maintained throughout the implementation of services.
To drive cross-sell opportunities within new customers to increase share of wallet for Servest.
To support NBDEs on tenders and national accounts to increase conversion rates for Servest e.g. surveys, customer interactions, planning.
