The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, be customer-oriented, and not be afraid to travel extensively.
The role requires a reliable vehicle, and previous experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or retail sector is highly preferred.
A chef background with a solid understanding of back-of-house kitchen operations is advantageous .
The candidate should also be technically minded, with the ability to sell catering equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and grow existing business relationships while sourcing new opportunities.
Manage current projects and supply the required catering equipment.
Achieve sales targets consistently, ensuring a high conversion rate of quotations to sales.
Have a thorough understanding of commercial kitchen operations to support sales activities.
Continuously increase market share by identifying and pursuing new customer opportunities.
Generate accurate quotations for customers using company price lists and external suppliers where necessary.
Negotiate prices and deals with customers within set parameters.
Ensure that quotations and any required amendments are completed and submitted accurately and on time.
Capture customer orders on the Syspro system promptly and accurately.
Prepare weekly project sheets and journey plans, providing feedback to management regularly.
