Our client is a technical company within the construction and mechanical and allied arenaThey manufacture custom made garage doors, commercial sectional doors, and roller shutter doors, and are looking for an energetic and dynamic Sales Consultant.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesConstantly maintain knowledge of productsConsult with professionals within the building industry; architects, developers, quantity surveyors, etc.Attend site meetings (own transport is a prerequisite)Specify the correct product for the correct applicationUnderstand architectural drawingsBuild and maintain relationships with clientsGenerate new leads – by means of cold callingPipeline reporting and sales forecastingAchieve set thresholdsMeasure aperturesProcess paperwork for manufactureProvide advice/solutions for difficult installationsDesired Experience & QualificationExperienceSales experience in the construction and mechanical industryComputer literate in software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAble to handle pressureQualificationMatricOwn vehiclePackage & Remuneration±R 16,000 basic plus commission after threshold is reached
