The sales associate position is a key link between Marketing plans and trade execution. This position is responsible for the execution and implementation of initiatives and the achievement of set KPIs to deliver volume targets within a geographical area in the core and/or main market (including urban and/or township areas). What will you do – Responsibilities: Execute the required merchandising principles in each outlet, maximizing the visibility of the relevant JTI SKUs and brand communication to the consumer Drive the company's volume targets and prevent any possible out-of-stock situations by ensuring that retailers/wholesales in the area have and order adequate stock, understaffing, and utilizing tools provided Drive, through negotiations at the outlet level, price relativity with key competitor brands in the allocated outlets in the area. Negotiate and execute the implementation of national and/or regional programs/agreements (trade programs and/or agreements) at the outlet level - as per business targets and program/agreement mechanics and objectives.
