Apply before Sep 04 2024 | 22 Hours leftJob ResponsibilitiesExceed customer expectations by practicing customer selling techniques.Ensure individual targets are met consistently.Ability to maximize and drive sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover.Establish a professional relationship with customers and provide friendly, helpful, courteous assistance and advice to all customers.Report customer compliments and complaints to management.Transact all purchases – receive, verify and process all payments such as cash, cards, vouchers, coupons, and any other acceptable payments.Ensure all outgoing stock/items/scripts are scanned and paid for.Process all loyalty cards including those of accelerated partners.Adhere to stock loss controls in store.Attend to all customer stock queries and ensure that they are dealt with and resolved.Office Visual Merchandising communication to optimize sales.Implement window campaigns aligned with the company's brand standards and marketing objectives.Implement seasonal and promotional displays timeously.Ensure all visual merchandising elements, including window displays, in-store displays, and signage, are current, clean, and well-maintained.Execute Visual Merchandising instructions from the Head Office team to ensure that the brand strategy is maintained.Behavioural RequirementsA passion for retail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.Well-spoken with effective communication skills.Ability to work independently and use initiative.Resilient and tenacious in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Ability to prioritize, manage your time, and maintain high levels of drive & initiative while under pressure.Ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.Methodical, detail-oriented, and accurate.Strong creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into functioning displays.Trustworthy and honest.Time management.Matric or Equivalent.AdvantageousKnowledge of current fashion trends/outdoor lifestyle (depending on the brand applying for).Special Conditions of EmploymentClear Credit and Criminal record.Willing and able to work retail hours.Willing and able to assist with new store openings in the area.
