Sales Assistant

Position: Sales AssistantDivision: OperationsLocation: Durban- KwaZulu NatalReporting to: Store ManagerPosition Overview: As a Sales Assistant at Studio 88 Group of Companies, you will be an integral part of the retail team, providing support in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining store standards. You will assist customers in finding products, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent.Experience required:- 1-2 years of sales experience.- Previous retail experience, especially in clothing stores, is advantageous.- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.- Experience in restocking apparel, organizing clothing, and maintaining store cleanliness.- Proficiency in cash handling, transactions, and using POS systems.- Familiarity with inventory control and stock management.Skills required:- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.- Ability to upsell and cross-sell products.- Good knowledge of clothing products, brands, sizes, and fashion trends.- Basic understanding of visual merchandising principles.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Time management skills.- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.Behavioral Dimensions:- Professional, confident, positive attitude.- Punctual.- Team player.- Self-motivated.- Ability to work well under pressure.
