Responsible for managing strategically important EPCs and Customers, the role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing these accounts in Africa through an effective account management process incorporating the customers' strategic requirements with value propositions from Sandvik. Management of these keys relationship in order to grow our overall market share, increase the share of wallet, drive customer loyalty, and manage information flow to and from our internal stakeholders to align the customer approach and understanding.The job responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management Develop and maintain long term relationships with key customers and ensure key accounts are assigned key account owners (to also be defined in the Salesforce CRM) to serve as the primary point on contact for enquiries, concerns, requests etcServe as the primary point of contact on certain designated key customer accountsUnderstand the customer goals, challenges and requirements and collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions that meet customer objectivesIdentify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth and present additional products/services to exiting clients. Development of account business plans for key customersInvolvement with drafting, preparing and presenting solutions/offerings to customers and negotiation in contracts and pricingInvolvement with assisting sales teams prepares RFQs/RFTs and ensuring timeous submission to customersCoordination with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products/services and resolution of customer issuesPromotion/engagement with key customers to use the NPS for feedback and closing out of the issues raised through the NPSAct as a customer advocate withing the organization ensuring the customer feedback is heard and addressed promptlyPerformance monitoring of key customer accounts and tracking key metrics including customer satisfaction, retention rates, revenue growth and analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvementsStay informed & communicate industry trends, competitor activities and market development and use insights to anticipate customer needs and also proactively address challenges that may arise for the organizationPrepare regular reports and presentation for the customers and internal stakeholders communicating account performance, milestones and strategic recommendationsPromote and drive the use of CRM for key customer managementEPC Management Develop and maintain long term relationships with identified EPCs and act as the primary point of contact in relation to the EPCs and associated EPC projectsUnderstand requirements of the EPCs and work with internal stakeholders to meet the needs to promote Sandvik to the EPCsDevelop and facilitate an EPC engagement and training plan and ensure regularly engagement with the relevant stakeholders to drive the relationships with the EPCsPromotion of PlantDesigner to the EPCs and feedback to internal stakeholders on any shortcomings and challenges with the toolWorking with relevant sales team in the preparation of proposals/RFQs/RFTs for EPC projects and ensuring requirements are met and submissions are timeous.Following up with EPCs on project status and regularly feedback to the organization of project outlooks, timing etcDeveloping the Sandvik "value sell" for EPCs working with the BLMs and other key internal stakeholdersQualifications & Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business/Marketing Or Degree in Engineering but with relevant sales/customer experience will also be considered +5 years in a similar managerial role with exposure in mining industry and related industries +5 years related Mining industry experience+ 5 years in a similar sales/account management role experiencePreparing Market analysis & financial planning, preparation of business plansOther Requirements & Competencies Willingness & fitness to travel into other African countriesMandatory knowledge of vibrating and/or crushing equipment/comminution processGood understanding of mining site plants and process engineeringResults orientated and drivenAbility to work in a matrix organization environmentSound judgement and problem-solving abilityListening and logic interpretationStrong customer orientationAdvanced communication skillsMust be flexible and self-reliant, self-starterSound commercial reasoning, contract management and financial understandingStrong understanding and compliance with Health and Safety in the workplaceAbility to function independently and with responsibilityThe ability to make sound decisions related to identified problems without assistanceFollow-through ability to complete tasksRight to live permanently and work legally in South AfricaWhat is in it for you?
