Location: Cape Town (Century City) , South Africa (Hybrid role with occasional travel to Zambia)About the RoleA well-established organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Operations Controller to oversee sales, operational, and financial processes.
This full-time hybrid role is based in Cape Town but will require occasional travel to Zambia.Key ResponsibilitiesManage administrative duties, including filing and record-keeping.Analyze gross profits and gross profit percentages.Monitor and report customer back-orders.Prepare and process customer quotes, invoices, and supplier purchase orders using Sage One.Coordinate imports, exports, and freight logistics.Develop and manage inventory systems on Sage One, including stock management, replenishment, monthly stock takes, and reconciliations.Schedule deliveries to Zambia and ensure all proof of deliveries and customs documents are managed and uploaded to Google Drive.Handle job card costing and analysis.Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.Conduct supplier and sales reconciliations at month-end.Utilize Power BI for reporting and data analysis.Support supplier sourcing and maintain supplier back-order reports.QualificationsStrong analytical skills with a background in finance and accounting.Proven experience in operations management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in analyzing financial data and identifying trends.Skilled in budget management and forecasting.Knowledge of the mining industry is an advantage.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.What's on OfferA challenging and dynamic role with the opportunity to work across borders.A supportive work environment that values growth and professional development.The chance to contribute to operations across diverse markets in Africa.Take the next step in your career and apply today!
