The role involves direct sales, contracting exhibitors, managing setups and events, and maintaining compliance with controls.
Additionally, the role supports the implementation of marketing strategies, tenant communication, and digital platform management.Key ResponsibilitiesSales and PromotionsDrive sales for exhibition spaces, indoor and outdoor advertising, and promotional areas.Conceptualize and coordinate exhibitions and events aligned with the marketing strategy.Maintain proactive communication with clients, manage booking calendars, and ensure timely follow-ups.Marketing and EventsAssist in implementing marketing strategies and coordinating events, including design briefings and supplier negotiations.Manage tenant communications for promotions, events, and newsletters.Update content across digital platforms, ensuring relevance and compliance.Administration and ReportingMaintain accurate databases for tenants, suppliers, and clients.Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, event evaluations, and marketing initiatives.Ensure all documentation, contracts, and payments are processed efficiently and meet compliance standards.Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to optimize operations.Support the marketing team in achieving overall objectives, including after-hours events.RequirementsQualifications: Matric and relevant post-matric qualification (preferably a diploma or degree in marketing).Experience: 2-3 years in sales or marketing roles, preferably within retail or event coordination.Skills: Proficiency in Office 365, strong project management, communication, and customer relations skills.Other: Valid driver's license, own transport, and flexibility to work weekends or after hours as required.Problem-solving and adaptability.Strong negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills.Team-oriented, detail-focused, and deadline-driven.This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, marketing, and event coordination, looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAdvertising, Sales, and Business DevelopmentIndustriesAdvertising Services, Events Services, and Retail
