About Us: Grootvlei Hatchery specializes in providing high-quality day-old chicks. We are expanding our team and seeking a versatile Sales and Logistic Administrative Person to enhance our operations.
Position Overview: This role combines sales support with logistics and administrative duties, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service. You must be available to communicate with customers and the sales team at any time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Support: Assist with customer inquiries, process orders, and support the sales team as needed.
• Logistics Coordination: Schedule and manage the delivery of day-old chicks.
• Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of company vehicles.
• Licensing: Ensure vehicle and transport licenses are up-to-date and compliant.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of chicks and equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records for deliveries, inventory, and fleet.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle data entry, filing, and reporting.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in logistics or sales is a plus.
• Previous experience in Hatchery environment is preferred but not limited to
• Valid Code 8 driver's license is required.
• Previous experience in sales, logistics, or administration preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
