Join a dynamic team as a Sales and Branch Manager, reporting directly to the Divisional Executive. Our client is a leader in Packaging Solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to their clients.Role Overview:This role combines leadership and sales expertise. The successful candidate will oversee branch operations, manage a small team, and drive sales growth in the region. Responsibilities include stock management, customer relations, health and safety compliance, and proactive sales activities.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the branch team, including Stores and Distribution functions.Coordinate stock and deliveries from Pinetown to the warehouse and oversee on-site stock management.Ensure branch compliance with H&S, ISO, and Food Safety standards.Maintain property security and oversee maintenance activities.Manage key accounts, source new business, and develop strong customer relationships.Present professional price proposals and meet/exceed sales budgets.Report on sales performance weekly and align with production, planning, and design departments.Minimize obsolescence costs through effective stock management.Address and resolve customer requirements and complaints promptly.Qualifications and Experience:Proven sales experience (4-6 years) with a track record of closing deals effectively.External sales expertise (minimum 4 years).Team management experience, ideally in stock or logistics.Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SAP experience is advantageous).Understanding of the rigid plastic packaging market is a plus.Sales and marketing qualifications preferred; Matric is the minimum requirement.Valid driver's license (Code 08).Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
