Sales And Branch Manager

A position has arisen in KZN for an experienced Sales and Branch Manager. Duties include:Managing the small team at the branch and the Stores and Distribution function on siteCoordinating stock and deliveries from Pinetown to warehouse, and stock management on siteManaging H&S, ISO, and Food Safety for the branchProperty Maintenance and security for the branchDay-to-day calling on customers and management of key accountsSourcing of new customers/businessManaging sales effectively ensuring that sales budgets are beatenDeveloping effective relationships with new and current CustomersIdentifying and creating new opportunities in the industryProactively monitoring sales, customers and competitorsPresenting professional price proposals in writing to all customersDeveloping relevant sales budgets in conjunction with ExecutiveReporting weekly on salesInterfacing with production, planning and design departmentsDeveloping relevant sales budgets in conjunction with ExecutiveEnsuring that stock is managed effectively and that obsolescence costs are minimizedEnsuring all customer requirements and complaints are communicated appropriately and dealt with timeouslyManaging the small team at the branch and the Stores and Distribution function on site, including admin, consumables and other branch requirementsCoordinating stock and deliveries from Pinetown to warehouse, and stock management on site Minimum RequirementsUnderstanding of the Rigid Plastic Packaging market would be advantageousAn understanding of packaging essentialComputer Literacy (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, SAP would be a benefit)Ability to work proactively, think laterally and analyticallyAbility to organize and manage own time and processes – self-disciplineAbility to do budgetingMatric as a minimum however a Sales and marketing qualification would be advantageous4 to 6 years external sales experienceAbility to close deals efficiently and effectivelyAbility to deal with all levels of employees including senior managementDrivers license pre-requisite (Code 08)Experience managing a team (experience in Stock or Logistics would be advantageous)
