SALARY AND BENEFITS: R20000 – R25 000 CTC p/m
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: Our Client is a leading Company in the Mining sector, and is seeking an experienced Sales Analyst to join their Sales team based in Kempton Park. As a Sales Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the sales process. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will utilize your advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Charts, IF formulas) to streamline sales reporting, track performance metrics, and enhance overall efficiency. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in the mining, steel, or equipment industries. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Diploma, degree or relevant post-matric qualification Advanced Excel skills essential (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Charts, IF formulas) Proficiency in ERP systems beneficial Strong sales administration experience Experience in the mining, steel, or equipment industries is highly desirable High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and active listening skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Empathy, trust, and relationship-building skills Strong interpersonal skills and team player Exceptional time-management and organizational skills RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate and manage general sales reports as required Perform general sales administration tasks Create and manage quotes on ERP systems and Excel Collaborate with Directors on special pricing Oversee and manage customer activities on online systems Manage customer portfolio and target trackers for sales representatives Track monthly sales targets and incentives Maintain a tracker for new business opportunities Generate open orders and backorder reports Compile lost sales reports Monitor team progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements Prepare monthly stock valuation reports Manage obsolete stock reports and incentives for selling obsolete stock Oversee customer portals and emails related to RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders Update daily sales vs. targets for the Sales Director Prepare overall group sales reports for monthly sales management meetings Prepare individual sales by rep reports for monthly POD target overview Handle other high-level reporting as needed Create quotations and follow up on expediting steel stock orders and opportunities for the Sales Director.
