Sales Administrator – Johannesburg

The sales administration supports the Johannesburg sales team in servicing our customer base to reach and maintain sales targets, manage accounts, and control stock.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Loading and processing of sales orders, sending picking tickets and generating invoices.Assist customers with basic quotations, stock availability and account queries.Provide support to the sales team when they are out of the office.Account Management Opening of new business accounts.Liaising with the financial department on applications for new or increased credit limits.Auditing and maintaining all customer profiles on the ERP system concerning contacts, contact details, and the related required paperwork.Attaching orders, POPs, supporting documents and information on the ERP system.Managing and communicating daily scheduled deliveries.Stock Control Daily monitoring of back orders and checking on stock availability.Communication with other branches regarding the availability of stock when needed.Communicating with the Johannesburg sales team about stock availability and ETAs.General Ensure all company policies and relevant procedures are followed.Assist with tasks related to the company operations that might fall outside the indicated duties and responsibilities.The following KPIs will be applicable –
Accuracy of order processing and communication of stock availability.Accuracy and timeous management of the back-order report.Accuracy and detail of information recorded on the ERP system.Urgency and professionalism with which tasks are completed.Planning and execution of tasks.Adherence to the relevant company procedures and policies.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelor's degree or Higher Certificate in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.Relevant certifications in Sales Support, CRM systems, or Administrative Support (optional but advantageous).3-5 years experience in sales support or administration.Experience in sales administration, sales operations, or customer relationship management (CRM).Familiarity with sales tracking, order processing, and database management.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other administrative software.Experience with CRM software (eg.
Acumatica, Sage) and ERP systems (eg.
SAP) is highly desirable.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and customer orders.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A solid understanding of sales processes and how administrative functions support the sales cycle.Customer-focused mindset with a desire to contribute to sales team success.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Time management and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.REPORTING Johannesburg Sales Administrator SupervisorLOCATION This position is based at our Johannesburg office: Cussonia Park, 3 Ridge Road, Laser Park, Johannesburg, 2170
