The role is ideal for a financial professional with 3-5 years' working experience in the area of financial planning and investment advice. Experience in onboarding and servicing clients with different investment vehicles is essential.A book of existing clients and regular new prospective client leads will be provided. A clear career path and remuneration growth will be outlined to the successful candidate.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will need to:Meet with prospective clients (virtually via Zoom/Teams or in person at our offices)Follow a detailed financial planning process to onboard prospective clientsAdvise existing and prospective clients on their investmentsAdvise clients on offshore investingAssist clients with tax planning, estate planning and willsPrepare and conduct investment reviews for clientsContinuously learn about the markets, tax regulations and different investment vehiclesWork as part of a professional teamKeep records of new and existing clientsMonitor FICA complianceDesired Experience & QualificationMinimum 3 years working experience as a financial plannerBe fluent (speech and writing) in English and AfrikaansMust have passed the RE5 regulatory examApplicants with the Certified Financial Planner CFP qualification (or studying towards the qualification) will be preferredProficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerpointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHave the ability to manage time effectivelyHave an aptitude for continued learningPackage & RemunerationBasic salary (R25,000 to R30,000 per month) depending on experience, plus commission and bonus incentives.
