Saica Audit Clerk

Responsibilities: •Managing and training junior staff and SAICA trainees•Developing workplans and budgets•Preparation and review of Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEs•Leading audit/review engagements and completing working papers•Reporting to the Audit Supervisor/Manager•Performing various audit/review related duties•Handling client correspondence and fostering client relationship developmentRequirements:•Ability to work unsupervised•Completed SAICA articles to prepare working paper files and AFS•Own transport including valid SA driver's license•Very high attention to detail•Passionate about auditing and committed to remaining in the profession•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines•Excellent communication skills both verbal and written•Comm with or without Honors or similar qualification•Ability to work as part of a team•Proficient in computer literacy: Outlook, Word, and Excel.•Experience with Xero advanced.•Experience with Sage One and Pastel Partner.
