Managed Talent Solutions's client in the ERP Software sector is looking for a Sage ERP consultant on a 12 months' contract.
Candidate must showcase at least 3 full Sage 300 People implementations and must be Sage 300 People and Sage X3 certified .
This is a client centric role and candidates must be willing and able to travel to client sites nationally Qualifications, Skills and Experience A qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Certified in Sage 300 People (essential).
Certified in Sage X3 (essential) Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP consulting, end-to-end project management and at least 3 x system implementations of Sage 300 People (must have).
Proven experience in technical support and advanced product knowledge (must have).
Experience in following detailed work plans for project activities within scope.
Experience in supporting end users with general ERP systems.
Advanced level of Excel proficiency, including ability to create data transformation workbooks and/or macros to manipulate data and facilitate uploads.
Strong communication skills.
Strong administrative skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct an analysis of client business processes and functional requirements; define requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development and document these requirements.
Formulate solutions that will meet the client's business needs and expectations in an efficient and timely manner.
Conduct project scoping and planning, as well as create successful implementation and provision of support.
Keep the client informed of progress made on project and manage any client requests so as to ensure client satisfaction.
ERP system implementation and support Implementation of various Sage products i.e.
SAGE 300 People, SAGE X3, - requires scoping of project, designing and customising the solution to suit client's requirements and specifications in line with sound Accounting/Financial principles.
Conduct UAT and train users on a new system to enable them to become self-sufficient in the use of the software which has been configured for their purposes.
Ensure a smooth integration of business processes after go-live, providing hands-on support to the customer on adoption of new system and during month end processes.
Client support as and when required.
Implement effective solutions to manage and resolve clients' concerns, challenges and pain points with installed products.
This includes handling questions, solving problems, creating reports, performing upgrades, as well as ensuring the client's general satisfaction with the software and the company.
Configurations based on quarterly Impact Releases.
Resolve user and/or system errors timeously.
Regular weekly status updates to client on the project plan.
