Safety Officer - Mining

Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape is looking for a skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join their mining team.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety programs and policies
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
Identify and address potential hazards and unsafe acts
Provide safety training and education to employees
Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures
Ensure compliance with mining safety regulations and standards
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation

Requirements

Grade 12
National Diploma in Safety/Risk Management
COMSOC 1&2/SAMTRAC
5 years' experience as Safety Officer within the mining industry
Valid Drivers' License
