Requirements that must be met:

Valid Underground Blasting certificate
Must have all the relevant certificates as a Safety Officer

Duties would be but not limited to:

Safety inspections and audits
Risk assessments
Training and education
Incident investigation
Emergency response
Safety equipment management
Regularity compliance
Health & safety programs
Communications
Record keeping
Continuous improvement
