Safety Officer

A Safety Coordinator, or Safety Specialist, helps improve the overall safety of the workplace. Their duties include assessing safety, enforcing safety standards and educating employees.
They take into consideration industry regulations and the specific risks in your workplace to ensure normal work activities are handled safely. They train employees on safety protocols and enforce them if they're not being followed properly. Safety Coordinators also respond when workplace accidents happen, creating reports and determining ways to prevent similar accidents.
JOB Location: Fujairah, UAE - Flights and accommodation provided.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in UAE in non-industrial site preferable from a facility maintenance company, community management firms, private properties, etc.
Strong communication and English skills.
Confident and strong in dealing with conflicts.
OSHA approved.
Very good knowledge about local/ISO 45001/International/OSHA regulations.
MUST HAVE HOTEL / RESORT EXPERIENCE.

Investigates and reports on accidents and incidents.
Leads and participates in workplace audits, inspections and corrective actions.
Collaborates with managers and other stakeholders to identify and address safety issues.
