Job Title: Safety Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee our company's safety programs and policies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the workplace is safe and healthy for all employees and visitors.
The Safety Manager will develop and implement safety strategies, policies, and procedures to prevent workplace injuries and accidents.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls.
Collaborate with department managers to ensure all employees are trained on safety policies and procedures.
Investigate and report accidents and incidents, and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Manage and coordinate the company's emergency response plans and drills.
Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management as required.
Monitor the workplace to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Participate in safety-related meetings and committees as required.
Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees and visitors.
Develop and manage the safety budget and ensure expenditures are in line with company objectives.
Requirements: SACPCMP Minimum of 5 years experience in safety management in mining Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
