About the team:Fund Operations is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of transfer agent activities and supporting clients who invest in our client s fund ranges. The Fund Operations Team supports the business by facilitating flows into and out of their global fund ranges. The Fund Operations team also owns the relationship with Transfer Agents and are responsible for oversight of their activities.One of the Transfer Agent activities is conducting due diligence check on clients identification documents to meet local Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client (AML/KYC) requirements and protect clients investments. The purpose of this role is to monitor and support our client and Transfer Agents in their task of contacting clients to request and collect information to meet regulatory requirements of the Funds jurisdiction.Responsibilities: Oversee which clients are contacted, what is requested from them and how it is communicatedTrack Transfer Agents internal processes and monitor their progressManage internal stakeholder communications and engagementSupport clients and Transfer Agents who are engaged in queries or complaintsAssist Client Group and Client Service teams who field related queries from clientsMonitor trends or issues as they arise to adapt plans or processes and find ways to continuously improveSupport and assist wider Fund Operations team activities where necessaryMonitor Transfer Agent communications with clients to ensure good client experience is deliveredManage the daily priority log to help Transfer Agents prioritise workIdentify risks and ensure effective controls are in place (both at the TA and internally)Ensure incidents are escalated and recorded in the firm s Risk Event system, and procedures and processes/controls are evaluated to mitigate riskContribute to cross-departmental projects / initiatives as requiredRequirements: Relevant Tertiary QualificationExperience of working in the Asset Management industry is desirableExperience in AML/KYC is desirableClient Service experience demonstrating ability to manage difficult conversations and conflictStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong Excel skills and experience of handling large datasets comfortablySome of the attributes we look for in a person are:The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationshipsThe ability to approach and own and continuously look for opportunities to developAbility to recognise and embrace changeA client focused and collaborative approach
