Rope Access (Richards Bay)

Masa Outsourcing is currently looking for a Rope Access Technician in the Richards Bay area, who specializes in working at heights using rope systems to access difficult-to-reach locations.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rope access work Key Responsibilities: Perform rope access work according to client specifications and safety regulations.
Replace roof sheeting Bagging screen area Screen Area roof and Bay 2 Scope and BOQ Remove and replace roof sheet screen area 3.6 x 8 off Screen area 2.4 M x 20 off Bay 2 product store 3.6M x 2 off Rope access x 2 personnel One crew roof sheeting Inspect and maintain rope access equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Conduct safety checks of equipment before use and complete necessary documentation.
Carry out maintenance, repair, or inspection of structures, buildings, or equipment while suspended.
Assist in rigging and de-rigging of rope access equipment.
Work with other technicians and team members to complete projects on time and within safety standards.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant safety standards (e.g., IRATA, ISO).
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Must be able to conduct work with hand tools at these heights as well, such as replacing nuts and bolts, screws Additional Requirements: Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Valid medical certification for work at heights.
Willingness to travel and work in various locations, sometimes in remote areas.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and shifts, if necessary.
