Roofing Site Manager/Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager / Supervisor for the roofing and waterproofing industry, based in Cape Town.Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee and direct roofing and waterproofing projects from conception to completionReview projects thoroughly to schedule deliverables and estimate costsCoordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractorsSelect appropriate tools and materials for roofing and waterproofing workOrder and purchase materials as neededManage the use of construction equipment and machineryEnsure strict adherence to all health and safety standards on the construction siteReport any safety issues promptlyResolve construction-related problems efficientlyImplement improvements in roofing and waterproofing processesMaintain effective communication between project managers, site staff, and clientsAdhere to compliance regulationsDesired Experience & Qualification:Minimum 3 years in the roofing and waterproofing industryStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectivelyAbility to plan and manage jobs, including material estimations for purchase order requests, scheduling your time and keeping customers informedMust be honest, reliable, and capable of working independentlyA valid driver's license is essentialCertification in roofing or waterproofing will be an advantageStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailGood communication skills, both written and verbal
