Our clients Roads and Highways Division covers high-capacity freeways, interchanges, bridges, airport pavements, rural roads, and municipal infrastructure. The team is backed by specialists in transportation, traffic engineering, geotechnical services, and materials. They are currently seeking a skilled Design Engineer (Roads - Pavement Specialist) to join their team. If you meet the qualifications listed below, we encourage you to apply Requirements: · Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer · Minimum of 10 years' experience in pavement design standards and procedures. · Specialist knowledge of Rubicon, cncPave and/or similar pavement design packages, at least 5 years' experience in these types of software packages. Responsibilities: · Serve as a technical expert in pavement design and associated deliverables. · Perform the role of Employers Agent/Engineer in compliance with GCC2015/FIDIC standards. · Compile and review technical pavement design deliverables for projects. · Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers. · Prepare and compile tender documentation. · Oversee projects in accordance with GCC 2015/FIDIC & COLTO/COTO guidelines. · Lead pavement design and execution of infrastructure projects, including other road-related designs.
