We're looking for a dynamic individual to drive growth in our Road Logistics division.Your RoleYou will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for Road Logistics. A deep understanding of the Mining Market in Africa, along with our service offerings and operational requirements, is essential. You will spend most of your time in customer-facing activities, actively seeking new business and collaborating closely with the Pricing and Operational Excellence Teams. Additionally, you will personally manage an account portfolio.Your ResponsibilitiesHunt and win new Road Logistics export and import business.Develop and retain the existing customer base.Gain expert market knowledge on key focus lanes into Africa, especially the Mining Market.Build relationships with overseas Route Development Managers to support Sea / Air to Road business.Meet and exceed targets as defined in the Incentive Scheme.Continuously build a quality pipeline in the SME sector to maximize opportunities and win ratio.Provide ongoing feedback on market rates and conditions to ZO.Maintain and ensure 100% data quality in CoreLOG (KN CRM) for all client activities and opportunities, with updates at least once a week.Your Skills and ExperiencesBachelor's degree preferred;2-5 years of experience in the Mining Market in Africa;2-5 years of experience in Road Logistics and Sales;Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills;Excellent presentation and communication abilities in English; speaking Chinese is an advantage;Knowledge of freight forwarding operations;Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural team environment.Good Reasons to JoinWe offer an employee-friendly environment for you to develop and grow to become a skilled transportation logistics professional in a challenging and fast-developing company with a competitive salary and opportunities for further development within the Kuehne+Nagel Group.
