Road Freight Coordinator (Temporary)

United Exports is a fully integrated international fruit breeder, producer, and exporter specializing in pioneering new blueberry varieties.
Our flagship blueberry brand, OZblu, is revolutionizing the industry and setting new global standards.This role requires t o support the smooth flow of packaging or product between loading and delivery points according to standard procedures and protocols, whilst maintaining ongoing communication with role players.
Key Performance Outputs: ·          A rrange transportation as required from loading to delivery points.
·          Communicate clear loading instructions to load points and transporters.
·          Keep all stakeholders updated on transport progress/delays.
·          Request Purchase Orders from finance.
·          Update transport sheet or system daily.
·          Escalate and assist to resolve transport related issues.
·           Work weekends, as required.
·          Assist with other logistics tasks and functions as required.
Requirements Qualification/ Experience   Senior certificate / grade 12 / matric.
  Suitable tertiary qualification.
  Transport coordination experience Functional/Technical    Excellent Computer literacy: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)    ERP Systems experience   Knowledge of road transport types and costs
