24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability) and travel throughout and between facilities.Job DutiesTriages symptom-based calls per approved protocols for patients.Reports results through EPIC system for purposes of tracking and quality assessment.Provides approved general health information to public caller, assessing needs for information by public callers, and provides information from approved sources.Exhibits effective communication skills with patients, physicians and others, communicating in a professional, calm and positive manner.Assumes responsibility for professional development and maintaining required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training, and credentials.Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.Performs other related duties as required.
