This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectivelyKey ResponsibilitiesPayroll ManagementOversee the complete payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processingMaintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory regulationsAddress payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepanciesLeave ManagementAdminister and manage employee leave recordsEnsure accurate tracking and reporting of leave balancesAssist employees with leave-related questions and applicationsBenefit ManagementAdminister employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and additional perksEnsure accurate enrollment and maintenance of benefit recordsProvide information and support to employees regarding their benefitsRecruitment AssistanceSupport the recruitment process, including candidate screening and interview coordinationAid in the onboarding and orientation of new hiresEmployee WellnessAssist in developing and implementing employee wellness programs and initiativesOrganize wellness activities and eventsHR Reports CompilationCompile and analyze HR reports related to leave and time & attendance.Assist with the accurate and timely reporting of HR metricsPerformance ManagementSupport the performance management process, including performance reviews and evaluationsTrack and report on performance management metricsStaff SurveysAdminister staff surveys to collect feedback on various workplace aspectsCompliance ReportingPrepare and submit compliance reports as neededMaintain accurate records of compliance activitiesAdministration of IODEnsure timely administration of all incidents of injury on duty (IOD)Industrial RelationsProvide support to the Head of HR and the management teamQualificationsDiploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldDegree in Human Resources or a related field is advantageousMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar roleProficiency in payroll software, specifically SAGE 300Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetlyExperience with the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).Skills and CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving and conflict resolution abilitiesCapability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamProactive and self-motivated approach
