My.China is a South African family-owned business that supports 500 local suppliers situated in Benoni and requires Risk Supervisor Vacancy.Duties / Responsibilities:Identifies potential risk exposures, recommends solutions, implements approved programs, promotes loss prevention, and updates and monitors compliance.Oversee the provision of security services by coordinating protection, safeguarding, and access control of the premises and their contents against internal/external threats and potential losses according to the prescribed security procedures.Develop, maintain, and audit security documentation as per procedures and standards.Monitor internal control effectiveness.Conduct internal inspections to ensure compliance.Supervise Control Room/CCTV procedures.Perform physical checking of inventory room materials and equipment.Perform physical checking of staff equipment.Ensure to perform your duties and responsibilities punctually within the provisions of the laid-down policy and procedures.Ensure that your subordinates perform their duties and responsibilities punctually within the provisions of the laid-down policy and procedures.Ensure excellent internal department relations in support of company objectives.Compliance with legal and binding instructions.Requirements of skills and education:Matric with certificate.Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Security Supervisor.Must have a Grade A Psira Certificate.Must have a valid driver's license.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs would be an advantage.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Good customer skills.Exceptional work ethic.Time management and ability to prioritize tasks given.Ability to respond effectively and in a timely manner to departmental needs.Good decision-making skills.Problem-solving ability.Remaining calm and resilient in challenging situations.Adaptability and flexibility.Strict adherence to company/departmental policy and procedures.Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating risks.Current knowledge of security threats.Excellent analytical and numerical skills together with presentation skills.Salary: Market Related Salary with medical insurance and provident fund benefit.Closing date: 27th September 2024.Please use the reference code HRJ19 with your application.Only short-listed applicants will be contacted within one week of the closing date.
