Risk Officer Germiston ACDC Dynamics, a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The role of a Risk Officer is crucial in identifying, assessing, and managing risks within an organization to ensure its long-term stability and success.
Responsibilities Opening with Management - Monday to Friday 6:30 – 6:45 & Saturday between 7:45 – 8:00 Monitoring of all ACDC Germiston Cameras confirming if all searching procedures are followed by means of viewing footage or live viewing. Monitoring of all ACDC Germiston Cameras looking at any suspicious behaviour of staff and clients inside the warehouse and retail stores. If any suspicious behaviour is noted the Branch Manager, National Inventory Manager and Risk Manager must be informed immediately. All internal investigations to be conducted during the day as requested by authorize management by means of an email when clients are unhappy either by the condition of the stock or stock being short supplied etc. This needs to be reported the Risk Manager and National Operation Manager by means of E-Mail. All footage should be attached in the mail. Internal investigations to be conducted for any fraudulent activities in and around the Branch. Monitoring of all ACDC Germiston cameras daily looking at any suspicious behaviour of staff, security officers and clients inside the warehouse and retail store. If any suspicious behaviour is noted the Branch Manager, National Inventory Manager and Risk Manager must be informed immediately. Tracking of all the ACDC Delivery Vehicles. All reports must be sent to the relevant Managers monthly. The Branch Manager and Risk Manager must be included in all the mails. Assisting onsite security inside the building with any warehouse related incidents. Opening of cases at SAPS. All Details must be emailed to Branch Manager, National Inventory Manager and Risk Manager. Assisting management with breathalyser test on a weekly basis and on request. All results must be filled in on a sheared folder that will be provided. Camera inspections must be conducted on a weekly basis and if any cameras are off or faulty, they should be reported to the Branch Manager and Risk Manager for assistance. Checking on UPS if any problem occurred. Relevant managers must be informed immediately. Monitoring all access points when dust bins are being empty (security guard must always be present by means of inspecting all the bins when it is being emptied) All roller doors, retail and collections doors and windows must be checked before exiting the Branch when the warehouse is being closed for the day. A walkthrough must be conducted at the end of each day confirming if all doors, windows are closed and aircon are switched off. Closing with Management – Operational requirement (Until warehouse management leave)
Requirements: Safety related qualification Valid competency certificates Strong communication skills Minimum of 3 years' experience in this position Proficient in all Microsoft Applications
