About The Role
The Risk Management Team is responsible for claims and complaints handling for the firm as well as guiding the firm on strategies to avoid future risk. This team is based out of our HQ office in Worcester. This is currently a 12 month fixed term contract, maternity cover. Responsibilities of a Risk Management Legal Assistant include: Undertaking routine administrative tasks for the team, including the distribution of post and spreadsheet management.Working on policy documents such as Complaints Handling Procedures.Diary management, including inputting key dates into calendars and sending important deadline reminders to the team.Keeping in communication with regulatory bodies as required.Drafting, formatting and proofreading of letters, documents and forms.Attending meetings and taking minutes.Supporting the archiving process and liaising with the operations team to do so.Fielding telephone calls as appropriate, this could at times mean speaking with individuals that want to raise a complaint.About You
As a Risk Management Legal Assistant, you will have: Attention to detail in all aspects of your work.IT literate with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and Teams.A helpful nature, sense of initiative and a desire to work collaboratively.Experience within a legal environment or professional services environment would be advantageous.Previous experience of working in a client-facing environment would be desirable but not essential.About Us
